Cameron Hayward, DC, CSCS, DACBSP® Dr. Hayward was a 2010 graduate of Independence High School. He went on to the University of Iowa and earned his Bachelor’s in Human Physiology before attending Palmer College of Chiropractic. Upon graduation in October 2016, Cameron spent six years working at Vanderloo Chiropractic in Waterloo. While working there he has served as team chiropractor for the Waterloo Blackhawks hockey team and Independence Mustang football team.
Dr. Hayward achieved a post graduate diplomate status with the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians in 2022. This distinction puts him as one of about 400 chiropractors in the country and one of ten in the state of Iowa. Cameron attended over 300 hours of classes about diagnosis, management, and treatment of athletic injuries and athletes. He also performed over 250 hours of clinical work in a sports setting and passed a series of exams to become a diplomate.
Dr. Hayward lives in Jesup with his wife Briana and their two sons, Emmerson and Elliot. In his free time, he enjoys reading, exercising, walking his dog Winston, and spending time with family and friends.
What is Chiropractic?
